Adopt-A-Bird birds are adopted at monthly meetings and you must be a member in
good standing to qualify.
Also, time in membership will specify which category
of bird you are eligible to adopt.
Sometimes people get birds and then for various reasons have to give
them up. The RMSA Adopt-a-Bird program helps owners find their companions loving,
educated homes.
Birds in the Program (available for adoption):
-
When weather
dictates, pictures of the birds, rather than the birds themselves, will be brought
to the meeting.
-
Birds may be pulled from adoption without notice. Birds are taken in
for adoption up to the time of the meeting and may not be listed here.
-
Please bring a carrier/s to the meeting if you plan to apply to adopt any
birds.
-
For the most up-to-date list of birds currently
in foster care, please call the Hotline. 303-456-0068
